5 factors that determine your case value.
During most of my initial consultations with potential clients, the most common question I get is “How much is my case worth”? And my answer is always the same—until you complete medical treatment and the facts of your case have been reviewed, there is no accurate case value that can be given.
Why not? As you may expect, every case is different.
The value of your case depends on many factors, including but not limited to:
1) The type of injuries you sustained
2) The extent of your injuries
3) The type and amount of treatment you needed to get better
4) The amount of medical expenses and lost wages you incurred
5) Whether your injuries are permanent or you had a full recovery.
If you get a case value from an attorney at your initial consultation, you should be very wary. No reasonable lawyer can tell you the value of your case without reviewing all the evidence. It’s a big red flag and I would advise you to consider other legal representation to protect yourself. If you need help, feel free to contact Okun Law PLLC today!
